lemon zuccchini risotto with a balsamic tomato salad

the food photo’s are hurting.� i know i know.� bear with me here folks.� i’m in the midst of a major learning curve as you can surely tell.

but if you want to see what this risotto dish should have looked like just go to “last night’s dinner” and�there you’ll find�the�lovliest pic of a wonderful rendition because quite frankly that woman knows what the hell she’s doing and can cook her ass off and someone needs to run and give her a book deal for god’s sake…

me, well – this was my first shot at risotto and you know what?� it was good.� it was refreshingly lemony and creamy from the goat cheese and i got to use up a big zucchini from my csa share which is always a big plus.� but it was just a tad gluggy.� so i need to leave it a little soupier (are you lovin my technical cooking terms?) and then it’ll set up some more when i take it off the heat.� so i have been told and so i believe.�

the tomatoes were csa heirlooms chopped up in a good balsamic with a chiffonade of lemon basil and smoked salt sprinkled on top.� yeah buddy…

and now for your viewing enjoyment:� come with me on a voyaristic journey to a saturday morning at the franklin farmers market just south of nashville, tn where somehow i have wound up living and liking it pretty well…

    Oscar for sure! She looks pretty here, but I prefer the slight edge she gives in the Oscar dress. Plus, while the black shoes didn’t feel too heavy for the dress, here I’m not a fan of the satin peep toes. For me, they destroy the ethereal nature of the dress.

    I grew up with Arlene in St. Charles, attended grade school there and high school in Paris with her. Unfortunately, I never saw her again after high school. For our 50-year class reunion in 2010 she was too ill to attend.     No i dostało się Tuskowi od Kasi. Ale trzeba być obiektywnym. Przecież premier więcej narobił dobra niż zła. Skoro po szczepionce (na próbę) zmarli prawie wszyscy bezdomni w Grudziądzu, to odmówił jej zakupu (chociaż raz Polak mądry przed szkodą!). Kto wie, czy nie uratował tym z 30 mln ludzi!!! I wobec tego faktu, chyba zasłużył na tytuł świętego! Może nawet bardziej niż sam papież.PS.Ale ten wpis lada moment bezpieka skasuje, zobaczycie!

    Andrejus,I was about to bang my head and throw my device, but last try saved me :)phew!!!!Since your ADFBasicAuthApp was in JSF 2.0, i had migrated to downgrade to JSF 1.2 and deployed in weblogic, during that process the below line got missed from jps-config.xml file.     “We need to talk.” I can’t remember the number of times I’ve used that with anyone I was going to have a difficult conversation with. It’s not great, kind of ambiguous, but kind of a “heads up”. I actually wrote a “Dear John” letter once, but it didn’t get there in a timely fashion and I ended up breaking up on the phone. I wouldn’t do that again.

    I have to write a research paper and my topic is the First Amendment. I want to write about taking a more absolutist view of it, saying that there are only so many ways to interpret the First Amendment, and that it doesn’t pick sides between money-hogging corporations or the underdog, it just is what it is. But how should I start it, what topic is there to research? I am locked into the subject, I’m afraid, and I don’t have much time left. Any ideas?
